Tour 2: Lilienstein

Experience a varied hike up the Lilienstein, one of the most striking table mountains in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. The hike begins in the spa town of Rathen and leads along the Elbe River, through idyllic forests, and over partly steep but well-secured stairways to the approximately 415-meter-high plateau. Once at the top, the Lilienstein rewards you with a breathtaking panoramic view over the Elbe Valley, Königstein Fortress, and large parts of the national park. The descent takes a different route, leading us to the town of Königstein.
